According to the Notice of Race: 15. Berthing

The entry fee covers the berthing fee for the scheduled measurement and racing days in the Olympic Sailing Center in Kiel-Schilksee. In case of a longer berthing time, the boat shall pay an additional fee for this period at the harbour master office.

Olympic Sailing Center

The Olympic Center Kiel-Schilksee offers the ideal conditions for high-class regattas at all levels with a strong history (Olympic Games in 1972). The event venue is well known for the annual regattas like Kiel Week and other major international events. For special highlights like the ORC Worlds 2023, the whole event venue is completely rebuilt to welcome global sailors and fans.

Here you will find perfect infrastructure with a modern media center, race and jury offices. Two permanent cranes, a lot of trailer storage, and a campsite directly next to the venue are additional key facts. All boats are located together next to the event village with facilities and locations for social events for up to 1,000 persons.

Transport

Kiel can be reached easily by car, train, plane (Airports in Kiel, Hamburg and Denmark), daily ferries or the Kiel Canel. You will find a high Quality level of public transport with a good traffic connection to the City of Kiel.

Accomodation

There are several appartments, hotels and hostels near by in Schilksee, Strande, in the City of Kiel and the suburban. In addition there is a hughe campsite directly next to the venue for vans, camper and tents.

Infastructure

You will find sufficient parking spaces, halls for measurement, berthing with guarded access, facilities and celebrating locations. A modern media center, race and jury offices, two cranes and trailer storage.
