The Notice of Race is published and the registration portal is open.
From today the Early Entry Fee is valid and it is possible to register for the ORC World Championship.
255 days before the opening of the ORC World Championship in Kiel (August, 04 – 12, 2023), the Notice of Race is published as of today, 23 November 2022 12 hrs. CET. You can also register via the registration portal Manage2Sail.
“All committees accomplished very good results! We are very happy that we can now present the Notice of Race for next year’s ORC World Championship to the sailors,” says Head of Organization Eckhard von der Mosel.
With the unique opportunities we find in Kiel and especially in the Olympic Sailing Center Schilksee, we would like to reach again the standards we set in 2014 with the last ORC World Championship in Kiel. The Racing Areas with the exciting Stollergrund directly in front of the harbor and the Kiel Bay in the Western Baltic Sea with the Danish Islands in the Little Belt, in the Great Belt and the waters around the island of Langeland we have ideal conditions for all kinds of offshore races.
Preliminary schedule of the ORC World Championship, August 4-12, 2023:
- Friday, August 4 to Saturday, August 5: Registration & Measurement.
- Sunday, August 6: Practice Race & Opening Ceremony
- Monday, August 7 to Friday, August 11: Races
- Saturday, August 12: Final Races & Prize Giving Ceremony
